Monument Park High School

Sometimes the best plans may fail when you are ill-prepared for something unexpectant. Monument Park High School showed CLASS and determination that nothing will prevent them from having their birthday today when they turn up for school and find out that a number of their windows were thrown in by vadalists over the past weekend. A total of 26 windows were damaged by these vandalists which could be either ex-learners from the school who has a grudge, or someone whith a mean streak.

Early this morning the senior staff were already on the phone to have the damaged assessed by claims investigators and police with their forensic teams. Everything went according to plan and during interval the guests were treated by the school choir with 2 beautiful songs of praise.

Mr Jantjies, Principal, gave the learners a motivational talk about reaching for your dream. He used the scripture of Jeremiah 29:11 in his speech and tell how and his staff always have to check on their strategy and see whether they are still on the road which they set out to be. He said that pupils have to check regularly whether they are still on track with their studies and their intended career plans, even if they like to party in between.

The draw for the best cake with the theme 'culture' to the winning team of Grade 9D and they got to eat their cake and have free cooldrinks to share with it.
